I LOVE the idea of covering a wall with vintage book pages. This is such a clever alternative to the traditional ways of using paint & fancy wallpaper to create an accent wall or designate the focal point in a room.
The look can completely transform a space and turn an ordinary wall into a conversation piece. Add sentimental impact by using the pages from your favorite novel, romantic poetry, inspirational quotes, or postcards from past travels…….the options are up to you and the story you want to tell.

Once again, Jenny Martell Photography! So exciting to be part of the magazine and for Jenny’s work to be recognized on the cover!
Don’t worry…..if you did not get a copy, my mom has about 17 of them. I am sure she would be willing to part with one of them.

I absolutely love using multiple layers of paper in different colors and textures to create depth. The combination of modern typography with the vintage, lace scalloped edge adds interest and a unique twist. So perfect for the romantic wedding in a soft, neutral color palette.

I had the most incredible time at my bridal session, taken at Parkhouse Antiques in Dallas’s design district. Their pieces are literally jaw-dropping, especially the original 1800′s carousel horse from France. The perfect backdrop for a romantic, vintage inspired wedding. Jenny Martell truly captured a nostalgic drama in these photos.

I am a recent newlywed who has a passion for vintage décor, typography, embellished detailing, and all things distinctively unique. Staying true to my design obsessions and DIY nature, I was able to bring my vision of a romantic vintage-mod wedding to reality, while actually having fun doing it.
Inspired by my own wedding adventures and years of crafty-enthusiasm, I launched my invitation and accessories line, Memento. My goal is to create sophisticated, custom designs for today’s stylish woman … creations that become keepsakes and serve as mementos of your special day … designs that tell a story and create an impressive image of a lifetime.
Through this blog, I will share my ideas and inspirations, from paper goods and wedding invitations to interior design, and all things pretty.
Thanks for visiting!
