New Memento Hair Accessory

A sweet gathering of silk petals, tulle, lace, wired velvet leaves, rhinestones and pearls……all hand sewn with love. Vintage and whimsical……this memento is perfect for the bride looking to make a statement.

Save the Date: Miranda & Grant

A new design for Miranda and her finance Grant. Miranda is gorgeous, classy, and full of style and taste so of course their Save the Date is as well. Full of fancy flourishes and black & white eye popping details, this design just might be my favorite for one reason: the hand drawn silhouette profiles of the Bride and Groom themselves. Soooooo frame worthy & a true memento. Stay tuned for invitation and hair accessory photos!

A Girly Girl’s Wedding Wish

A little “Marie Antoinette” wedding inspiration….from me to you.

Tuesdays Table

Okay, how ’bout “Tuesday’s Chair”? It’s a long story involving rain and camera woes. I won’t bore you with the details.

Featured are some photos previously taken when my camera liked me. A collage of my treasured fabric collection in a variety of vintage prints and colors. Individually or together as a grouping, one of my favorite accents to any table setting and a staple in so many of my designs.   Enjoy!

LOVE Postage Stamps

Check out these new commemorative stamps from US Postal Service!   Every detail of your wedding is important, even the postage adorning it’s envelope. The purple pansy design with the word “LOVE” on the left side make this stamp absolutley perfect for wedding invitations and other pretty stationary. These days it is quite rare that the post office issues a stamp this delightful and romantic so get them quick…..they won’t last long!

Tuesday’s Table

A little tabletop inspiration on a VERY windy Tuesday in Dallas!  Managing these goodies outside on the ol’ farm table was quite the struggle indeed.  This Tuesday I was  inspired by the colors on the china plate below- shades of soft pink, robins egg blue and cranberry red. Yummy!

A vintage brooch & twine hug this napkin - a creative way add glamour to a place setting.

The gorgeous white china plate which can be found online here at Laurie Anna’s Vintage Home.

Vintage books and a few handmade shabby chic brooches.

Pearls. We use them to dress up an outfit…..why not use them to dress up a table?

Real Bride: Jules

Stunning. Check out these amazing bridal photos I just received from a shoot I collaborated on with Jenny from Jenny Martell Photography.  Working with Jenny & Jules was so fun and the bride looks absolutely beautiful wearing some of my newer hair accessories. My favorite is the dramatic ostrich feather headband with the detachable oversized flower in soft blushes & creme.

Jules wanted the “vintage glamour” look so I brought along one of my favorite chairs covered in burlap from Uptown Country Home, a few birdcages (and yes, those are REAL doves) & some handmade paper elements…so fun and flirty. Thank you Jenny & Jules!

Tuesdays Table

A more traditional look this week featuring my favorite classic colors: red, navy and tan. You just can’t go wrong and I will always have at least one (okay….probably two) rooms in my home built on this pretty palette. As with last week, these pictures feature a variety of finds- some old, some new, with a splash of DIY handmade goodness. Enjoy!
