Lucky in Love: Bachelorette Party Invitation

I love a great theme and this one says it all! I drew my inspiration from vintage playing cards and used a combo of Vegas and Broadway style fonts to give the invitation a true “night out on the town” feeling. Just like a real playing card, each invitation and “Sweet Nothings” card is double sided and has rounded corners. This invitation is absolutely one of my most favorite projects to date. Thank  you hostess Meghan and congrats to the lucky bride!

Baby Boy Shower Invitation

When Emily of A Well Dressed Home asked me to design the baby shower invitations for her friend Tessa, also an interior designer, I was super excited….and knew it had to be extra special!

Emily provided me with one of her amazing online design boards of the nursery (how bout’ that for inspiration?!)  and I created the invitation to match. I took full advantage of the awesome grey and yellow color scheme and then also designed a graphic pattern to match her fabric for the wrap around address labels. So fun, fresh and modern. What a lucky lil guy to have such an incredible nursery!

Thank you so much Emily and Tessa for the opportunity and incredible inspiration!

Sweet couple. Suite dinner. Dallas Mavericks style!

Working with Lisa on all of her wedding paper goods was such a delight.  We stayed true to her classic and elegant style throughout …with one exception: the rehearsal dinner invitation, where I was given free reign to create something fun and a little untraditional for the event. With the American Airlines Center, the Dallas Mavericks and sports lovers Lisa and Joe in mind, I was able to create something fun, fresh and modern for the event. LOVE it and thank you Lisa! You’re the best!

A “Sip and See” Celebration

Brand new, made to order invitation for a chic mommy who loves interior design, monograms, collecting antiques and most of all, her new baby girl.

I couldn’t help but pair the bright and bold invite with a matching metallic envelope….so glam and oh so classically girly. Thank you to Kerianne, the hostess with the mostess, and congratulations Martha!

Toy Train Baby Boy Shower Invitation

Brand new baby shower design for expecting Mommy Ashlee and hostess with the mostess Amber.  This invitation and thank you card pairing is sweet, sophisticated and simply adorable! Congratulations to Ashlee and thank you Amber- it was such a pleasure working with you again!

Jamie + Phillip: Wedding Invitation Suite

This new destination wedding invitation has me craving a sweet summer day at the beach!  Jamie and Phillip have chosen the Horseshoe Bay Resort to say their vows and I had the joy of designing these rustic, chic wedding invitations and matching thank you cards for the occasion.

Jamie wanted a look that was elegant with a dash of Texas rustic flavor to suite the spirit of the venue.
Navy flourish details + twine + modern typography + kraft brown=  the perfect blend of sophisticated and casual.

A totally unique and personalized invitation, specifically designed for a beautiful couple. I will absolutely be waiting on the edge of my seat to see the photos from this wedding! Thank you Jamie and Phillip!

Vintage Dress Form Bridal Shower Invitation & Thank You Card

LOVE this bridal shower invitation. LOVE it. I had the pleasure of designing Ashley and Louis’s save the date invitation in December and then Ashley’s sister of Laura Elyse Photography was so sweet to think of me to design paper goods for the bridal soiree taking place in Philadelphia this month. With romantic, feminine and vintage design through and through, this invitation and thank you card duo is making my heart melt.

A HUGE thank you to Laura for  so graciously sharing some of her amazing images from the shower . You definitely want to check out more of gorgeously unique work at Laura Elyse Photography!

Melanie + Michael: Wedding Invitation Suite

Melanie and Michael…what a sweet, precious couple in love. When Melanie expressed her love for burlap and lace, I knew we could create something beautiful for her wedding invitation.

Simple and elegant fonts and graphics (love the bird flourish image!) are the perfect compliment to the lace band and button embellishments.  A romantic, vintage inspired garden wedding only deserves an invitation such as this.

Melanie and Michael have teamed up with an insanely talented group to set the stage for their wedding: Kelly Simants of Sweet Pea Events, Debby Jewesson of Branching Out Events for florals and Elle Parks of Elle Parks Photography, all amazing folks I worked with on the Sweet Southern Inspiration shoot featured on Style Me Pretty.

Also in the works are coordinating thank you cards and programs for the couple so stay tuned!

Tristan + Matt: Wedding Invitation

If I could do it all over again, I think this would be my wedding invitation. This new design was tailor made for Tristan and Matt, a very special couple that I have known for many years who are getting married in Dallas this April.

We drew inspiration from their blush, black and ivory stitched pocket save the dates (which made D Weddings Magazine!) and the result could not have turned any more elegant over the top gorgeous.

Each piece was printed using thermography and every ribbon was dyed by hand to match the custom ink color, creating a perfectly put together invitation package. Stay tuned for the couple’s programs, menus, table cards and more!

Rustic Chic: Inspiration Board

I love pairing simple, organic elements with ultra feminine materials such as frilly chiffon, lace, or pearls. Rustic chic just seems to be the best of both style worlds and can easily be achieved by taking advantage of natures finest elements and incorporating lots of texture…with a dash of girly glamour.

So from me to you….a rustic collage of prettiness, which happens to include of number of Memento Designs photos! Enjoy!

Jenny + Mike: Save the Date

This new Save the Date card was created for a fabulous couple in Austin, Texas. Jenny and Mike have traveled the world together and wanted to share their story with guests through the invitation. The inspiration for the design was a modern, Texas style using their apple green, orange and purple wedding colors. I love the monogram “brand” and the folding format of this invite. And the picture of the couple in the canoe taken right after Mike popped the question….priceless!

Thank you so much Jenny and Mike for being so lovely to work with!

B is for Boy. And Bird.

I love this new design! Created for mommy to-be Stephany, who has chosen an amazing assortment of textiles in blues and browns for the baby nursery. I used her fabrics as the inspiration for the invitation and of course, went to town with the bird pattern! Three layers make up the invite with the top being a die cut birdcage, the middle a layer of vellum and the last the actual invitation. Each piece is held together by natural colored jute twine. Paired with the invitation is her registry card, which I printed and then die cut into a bird shape. SO adorable! Thank you hostess Kelly and congratulations Stephany!

PROOFS. Pass it On.

I want to apologize for the very light blog posts as of late! The past few weeks have been so busy with designing and proofing. Designing and proofing.

So today I thought I would share a few proofs of new project in the works. These are ideas and options that I have recently presented to my brides, tailor made for just for them.

I cannot wait to share the finished and complete package of each with you…so stay tuned!

Lace, burlap and twine…done 3 ways.

Can one go wrong with blush, black and ivory?
Custom couture map and silhouette profiles of the bride and groom.

Robins egg blue and gold.
Lace. Luxury. LOVE.

A new interpretation of a former save the date design.
Again, blush, black and ivory. When this package is complete, it is going to be major.

1940′s Vintage inspired invitation in the making.
I am truly obsessing over this design and where it’s headed.

Custom illustrated map for Austin, Texas wedding!
This invitation set is divine. More to come…

New flourish invitation design that I adore.
We have decided to go with something similar but different…and equally as pretty, pretty, pretty.

A Marriage of Sorts: Vintage Spoon Set meets Kitchen Shower Invitation

When RaeAnna asked me to design a kitchen shower invitation incorporating vintage silverware, I immediately thought of the “Dining Room Measuring Spoons” from Anthropologie. So here we have it- “a marriage of sorts”…real life! The invitation turned out simply adorable and incorporates the brides lavender and grey color scheme. Thank you so much RaeAnna for your fabulous inspiration. It was such a joy creating this for you!
