I am totally enamored by this home, transformed by owner and interior designer herself, Shannon Bowers of Dallas, Texas. Inspired by nature, Shannon selected a color palette of robins egg blue, sand and lavender and brought the outdoors in by making her house open, airy and relaxed. With practicality and family in mind, Shannon used linen and muslin slipcovers throughout that could be cleaned and replaced while still maintaining her natural, serene sense of style. Filled with an incredible collection of of Swedish and French antiques, this home is not only family friendly, but dream worthy as well.

This South Carolina wedding is the epitome of casual, personalized elegance. You really have to look at the pictures several times just to catch all of the intricate details that make this wedding incredibly special. The “Just Married” script written at the top of the entryway, vintage furniture, floral tea cups, rustic chandeliers….really?? And the icing on the cake: red velvet cupcakes and homemade desserts. Yum.
Everything about this wedding is so cozy and comfortable. It just feels like home.

New Save the Date invitation for Lisa and Joe! A classic design in cornflower blue and charcoal grey with an interesting mix of typography. So, so pretty.
Lisa had the fabulous idea of tying in the amazing flourish arrow design on the setting of her engagement ring. So, I designed a graphic of the detailing and incorporated it on each side of the monogram. Love touches of personalization! Stay tuned for the invitation suite…

This new invitation suite was designed for Aoife and Peter, a super sweet couple in Ireland who have nothing but the finest of taste. Aoife’s wedding day aesthetic centers around all things glamourous and classic with a champagne and ivory metallic shimmer palette. Since the the couple is tying the knot on New Years Eve, could it be more perfect??
Each pocket envelope was crafted by hand using a swirl pattern cardstock that I had custom designed for the bride. Finished off with ivory ribbon and adorned with a feather, this invitation is la la la luxurious. Thank you so much Aoife and Peter and congrats!

As most of you know, I have a slight obsession with vintage fabric and twine. I especially love pairing the two with other unique materials to create one of a kind invitations that share your personality with guests. I am currently working with a client who wanted to see the stitched pocket invitation in neutral colors for her garden wedding in California. The look turned out soft, romantic and oh. so. pretty.

I love old books and for one reason or another, I have been buying them like crazy lately. They make me happy.
Colorful vintage hardbacks are a great way to add a splash of brightness to a neutral setting without breaking the bank. I find most of mine at thrift stores or Half Price books for about $3 each. So on the old farm table we have some things old, somethings new and a handful of Memento Designs paper goods and accessories as well. To learn more about where to find items on this weeks table continue reading. Happy Tuesday!

Alex and Rich. Ahhhhh. So lovely to be working with this couple on their wedding paper goods. The inspiration behind their save the date was one of their fabulous engagement photos and the wedding day colors: eggplant, paris blue and a rich ivory. The packaged look came out so sophisticated and well…pretty pretty pretty. These two love birds will be making it official this April at an amazing outdoor venue in Austin. I cannot wait to begin working on their invitations, table cards, programs, etc. Stay tuned for more of their custom collection!

Just like Jennifer and Randall, this invitation suite is one of a kind. Jennifer is a clinical therapist/professor while Randall is a Captain in the US Army…so this couple is worthy of all admiration. It was clear from the beginning that they wanted something that no one had ever seen before. Fun, nontraditional and patriotic explains this invitation look and their personalities. We decided to use typography and vintage colors in an antique finish as the focus of the design and being that many of their guests are from out of town, the “Howdy from Dallas” postcard couldn’t be more perfect. To top it all off, a custom designed wedding map. Such a great memento for guests. Thank you so much Jenn and Randy for being beyond incredible to work with. Congratulations!
